1. What Is a Cookie?

Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit save in your browser. They are used to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and make the service work properly.

2. Which Cookies Do We Use?

• Strictly necessary cookies: Required for signing in and for security; the Platform does not work without them. E.g. the session cookie (lwt_session) and the language preference (aprindo_locale).
• Functional cookies: Improve your experience by remembering preferences such as language/display.
• Analytics cookies: May be used to measure anonymously how the Platform is used and to improve the service. They do not contain personally identifiable information.
• Marketing/measurement cookies: Used only on our public promotional pages to measure the effectiveness of our promotional activities.

Language preference cookie (aprindo_locale): A strictly necessary/functional first-party cookie. It is saved in your browser when you explicitly choose your language (Turkish or English), contains only the language you chose and is kept for 1 (one) year. If no language has been chosen, the page language is determined by detecting only the country from your IP address, locally on our server (or, if that is not possible, from your browser's language setting); for details, please see the Privacy Policy and KVKK Privacy Notice.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Embedded playback of promotional videos (e.g. YouTube) or similar external services may set their own cookies. These cookies are subject to the policies of the respective provider.

In addition, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel measurement tool runs on our public promotional pages; it may set cookies in your browser to measure advertising performance and shares page view information with Meta. When a teacher completes sign-up, a "registration completed" signal is also sent to Meta from the browser and from our server (Meta Conversions API) to measure ad performance; your email address is included only in irreversibly hashed form (SHA-256). This tool DOES NOT RUN in the teacher, student or admin panels — your use after signing in is not included in this measurement. 4. How Can You Manage Cookies?

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. However, if you block strictly necessary cookies, basic functions such as signing in and using the Platform may not work.
